Maroon Clownfish:
Premnas biaculeatus

Also known as Spinecheek Anemonefish,a member of the subfamily Amphiprioninae.
They are found in pairs or family groups in the Bulb Tentacle Anemone - Entacmea quadricolor, on coral and rocky areas of coastal reefs througout the Asian Pacific.
Maximum length is 17cm and their colour varies from red to reddish brown.
They are specialised damselfish living a symbiotic relationship with various anemones.
Clownfish are sequential hermaphrodites, meaning that they develop into males first, and when they mature, they become females.

About us

Let us introduce ourselves: we are Joan Keijer and Eelco Nieuwenhuis.
A couple from the Netherlands, we have been living in Bali since 2002. In Leiden Joan had her own practice working as a physiotherapist and Eelco worked as a structural engineer. Over the past 20 plus years we have been traveling around Indonesia and the beauty of this country made us decide to move here permanently.
What part can we play in planning your holiday in Indonesia...

First we would like to tell you a bit of history; we started diving back in Holland in 1993, and since then have been diving all over the world.
A lot of the diving took place in Indonesian waters and for good reasons. We still think diving around this archipelago is on the whole, the best in the world.
We bought a piece of property in Bali near Pemuteran up North and we moved here with the idea to start a dive operation.
Then some lunatics decided to blow up Kuta and we were forced to take another turn....

We exported furniture for a couple of years and in our spare time became PADI dive instructors. We combined exporting furniture with freelance teaching in Bali, Lombok and Manado, Sulawesi. However, the passion for diving eventually made us reconsider and we decided to focus completely on diving again.
In the mean time tourism picked up and many new dive operations and hotels emerged which makes chosing the right one(s) quite hard...

The challenge for us is to create a perfect holiday that caters your individual schedule, especially when you want to combine diving with a tour around Bali or beyond...
