Dive locations around Indonesia

Travelling around Indonesia is not so hard if you have plenty of time to arrange it while you are in the country.
There are lots of ways to travel Indonesia, on the map we put a few relevant airports, but there are many more.
We recently visited Togian islands, Papua and Raja Ampat and will incorporate this information soon....

Since 1994 we have traveled around many islands in the Indonesian archipelago and are still discovering new places.
Our holidays lasted at least five weeks or more, so we did not want to book transportation up front. As you can imagine, this way of travel sometimes became quite an adventure. We had to change our plans many a time due to a lack of available transportation.

When you book your itinerary up front through a travel agent in your home country, it does not guarantee a scheduled domestic flight, even if they are able to confirm these flights to begin with....

If your itinerary contains different islands and therefore domestic flights, make sure your resort/liveaboard/dive operator helps you with the booking of the various ways of transportation to get to your destination.
